| It started off as a normal day, but when my day starts normal, that's the time I watch my back. Sam O'Smith's the name. SOS to you. Sam O'Smith, Private Investigator. A fancy title I try my best to live down. The city outside was like a sleeping animal with ticks. Which it could ignore, until one bit too deep. Then it would awaken and scratch. The rain renewed its battle against the ant-like masses as they scurried for cover. For me there was nothing. Any business had been flushed away by the storm outside. Then.... the phone rang. The guy on the other end wouldn't give his name, but when he mentioned 500 bucks a day plus expenses, who needs to get intimate. It was a weird tale. International businessmen were going to some place in the north of Holland and disappearing. No clues, no traces, no whereabouts, no nothing. Gone. Just like that. My job was to find out why. And..oh yeah.. there was one other thing. The place they had gone to seemed to have a weird name. It was like a kind a kind of triangle. Drachten...Assen.... Groningen. So would I kindly get off my butt and solve the case. The case of the vanishing businessmen and.... THE DRACHTEN TRIANGLE! |
